Day 91 (Fri 10/06) Bad rim tape, spoke flats

Today has been a difficult day for flats, but not of the foreign object variety. My front wheel rim tape is worn out so after 2 spoke flats, I replaced it with electrical tape since I didn't have extra rim tape. A passerby who stopped to help said it would work. Unfortunately I had more flats due to spoke punctures so I added 2 more layers for a total of 3. I'm trying to figure out what to do now.
