Day 90 (Thu 10/05) "Hank Monk" room @ Cary Hotel

By coincidence we are staying at the "Hank Monk" room at the historic Cary Hotel (the inevitable comparison is with the Hotel Nevada in Ely, Nv. Frankly, this is half the size and twice the price but we're in California now). I believe the room's namesake is Henry Wentworth Monk who died in 1896. I'll find out more about him. We had a nice dinner including tiramisu @ Carlos Italian restaurant.
