Day 90 (Thu 10/05) leaving Silver Lake, snowing
It rained quite a bit at Silver Lake last night. We were safe in the trailer and our bikes were under a plastic tarp. I boiled water using my little stove so Mag & I had a backpacker pantry meal for breakfast. A motorist issued a dire warning about heavy snow downhill & we are already seeing substantial snow. He warned that snowplows don't plow the shoulder.
