Day 87 (Mon 10/02) Tire casing hole, Silver Springs

I hate all the smoking in Nevada. Anyway, the 'short' riding day today was complicated by the puncture in my new rear touring tire which caused the patched tube to give way again because of a hole in the casing. I patched it but it gave way again so I put my tire liner back which should reinforce the casing and help with future flats. I'm in Silver Springs, a town dominated by its casinos.
