Day 41 (Thu) Farewell Kansas, hello Colorado!

8:30 AM MT. We have been on mountain time since yesterday afternoon (Aug 16).

It is nice to see 'share the road' signs again. They were conspicuously absent in Kansas though it was not an unpleasant place to cycle aside from powerful winds. We got out of the school in Tribune, KS where we stayed last night before the kids started class on their first day of school.

We rode 16 miles to the Colorado border and had peanut butter and jelly tortillas and bananas. The weather is clear and it is heating up; perhaps it will reach about 90F today. We will ride 58 miles today to Eads, CO, with a planned lunch with Sheridan Lake about half way.
