Day 37 cycling in Kansas

I like riding in Kansas but it can be more challenging than one might expect. It is too hot this time of year as elsewhere in the midwest, but the winds are the real wildcard.

Yesterday they were SE which was in our favor most of the day. Today the winds are very strong from the south and southwest and there are few terrain features to block them. Mag is going 6-7 mph but she is hanging in there. She has a tougher time with headwinds than with most other types of challenges (i.e. hills, heat, rain) but she is not giving up.
