lunes 1 enero 2007; Posada Concepcion

We're finally in the 'real Baja', though not culturally. It is full of Americans. Mexican beaches are officially public, but with all the development in practice less and less beach is accessible to the public and more is for private development.

Initially, the gringo residents here wanted to deny us access to the beach but as we talked to them more they warmed up and we're staying in a beautiful cabana right on the beach for free, because the owner is in Thailand and the cabana business is not operating.

We're having dinner with two couples, Lynn & Mike, Lou & Al. Lou & Al have travelled all over the world and had been on a 2 year biking expedition all over the world.
