We were both pretty worn out, Jen especially, from the tough camping conditions over the past 2 days so we decided to hang out in Guerrero Negro for a day. We got a nice room with private bath (hot water) at the Motel Brisa Salina (Blvd Emiliano Zapata tel (615) 157-1795. For the bargain price of $150 pesos (about US $14).

Note that in Baja prices are only slightly lower in the U.S. and higher than in the Mexican mainland. This is presumably due to all the rich Californians that vacation here. The northern part has many hotels and condos.
