Day 59 At the Campground in Mesa Verde

The campground is quite large with hundreds of sites for tents and RVs. There is a small store and restaurant, though the restaurant serves only pancakes and sausage in the morning ($5.50 buffet per adult) and personal size cheese and pepperoni pizzas ($6) in the evening. There is a real restaurant after an 11 mi hilly windy road through the park. A ranger will be telling stories tonight.
