Day 32 Good-bye Katy trail (Clinton, MO); hello desolate roads!
We're leaving the Katy trail at Clinton, MO after about 5 days. From now on we will be taking our chances with the whims of motorists as we make our way along the desert stretch of Highway 18 into Kansas.
